Well things are going well. We are just waiting for our little boy to arrive and grace us with his presence. We have been getting the house ready for our son and then getting school lesson plans done for when we are both on leave. We are both very excited to have sometime off of work and to start our family with us all together and celebrating Christmas together at our house. Since this will be the first Christmas for Harvey and his brother with us I have a feeling that we will have to do a lot of correcting of behaviors. Let the fun/life begin.

Well I have more photos of baby Honda in his last few weeks in the tummy. It seems like we both are getting bigger and bigger as the time moves on. I am not to miserable now but I know that the time is coming when paying the pregnancy dues will be more intense. This weekend I am pampering myself. Today I got a haircut, highlights (for the first time), and eyebrows waxed. I feel really girly which is nice since I have so many boys around me these days. Other than that I am getting through the days and looking forward to more doctor appointments and getting to meet our boy. School is becoming increasingly long and taking more out of me so I look forward to the weekends when I can catch up on some sleep. Erik is doing well also. He is working on his tattoo trying to get it done before the kid, playing video games, and helped me for the first time shave my legs. It was a new bonding experience. He realizes now that we never want to have a girl that has to do this more often:) Anyway I must get going to bed. I hope this reaches everyone well.

This post is for my mother who would like me to keep posted as to what is happening in our life. So far things are pretty busy around the house we are getting it ready for the baby and also getting us ready to be new parents. We have gotten a lot of stuff for the kid and he has more clothes than Erik and I combined. I will post more pictures later on when we are at home and I can put them on. We have 4 weeks left on the pregnancy until the baby comes out and then the real life starts. Well that is about it for now. We really dont have much going on with life other than trying to enjoy each others company before we have to share it and get things ready on the go.

Well things are in full swing. Erik and I start baby classes on Monday the 20th and then we have 10 weeks left on Monday as well. Things are coming to a close really soon. I am in the nesting mood to get the house ready for our little boy. I can only hope that I get everything ready for a smooth transition for all of us. Here is a photo of the progress of the little guy.

Recently Erik and I have been trying to get the house ready for our little arrival. We have three more months to get the house the way that we want to before our time is not our own anymore. We have a few more projects to get done and we have decided that all of our weekends up until he is born are going to be used to finish the house. Other than that... school has started and Erik and I are both off to a busy start. My kindergarten and first grade buddies are full of energy and I am really tired by the end of the day. Erik is likewise also tired just because his job is needy also. Other than that nothing new to check into. Starting baby classes at the end of the month and hoping that time flies while we are still having fun getting stuff prepared.

Well a lot has happened since our last post. Starting with the house. Dubuque had a huge rain storm that dropped 9 inches of water in 24 hours. Needless to say the water had to find some place to go. Well our basement got flooded so we had to rip up all the carpet and we are on a hold to do the work down there until Erik can find time to fix it. I will not be able to help him due to the fact of the harmful chemicals involved. Other than that we are doing ok on the house and just from the storm we had a lot of branches, limbs, and walnuts fall. We are actually out in Seattle right now with Erik's folks. We are having a great time and went up to Canada for a night and day to see the sights. I got sea sick on the way up there and needless to say I was miserable but that changed quickly when I didn't have anything else in my system to throw up anymore. hahaha. Bryan and Oanh got married and we had a blast at that wedding. We are now looking forward to Monday when we get to go to a Mariner's game and just eat ballpark food. We also recently had a baby shower out here with Erik's family. We actually got a lot of outfits and we are coming home with an extra suitcase just for the little man. He is going to be cruising in style. We did have an exciting moment for our little family yesterday (8-5-10) Erik got to finally feel the baby move. I was really hoping to have that happen like on his bday or our anniversary but the little one was not having it. It was his time or no time. We are just really excited that Erik can now feel what I have been feeling and be that one step closer to our little man visiting us. Our little man is going to be quite the traveler. He actually took his first international trip. That is he was in my belly as we were in Canada. He is more of a traveler than his mommy. School starts soon and we are not really looking forward to it since this summer went by way to fast. School with the kiddos start on August 24th and I have a feeling it will be a quick year with all the stuff going on in our lives that we are looking forward to. Erik and I will have the weekends off now so that is going to be a very welcomed change into our lives. I think that I have caught you up to date with everything that is going on in the Honda household. Its long so thank you for sticking through it with me:). Until next time love the Hondas!
