Well a lot has happened since our last post. Starting with the house. Dubuque had a huge rain storm that dropped 9 inches of water in 24 hours. Needless to say the water had to find some place to go. Well our basement got flooded so we had to rip up all the carpet and we are on a hold to do the work down there until Erik can find time to fix it. I will not be able to help him due to the fact of the harmful chemicals involved. Other than that we are doing ok on the house and just from the storm we had a lot of branches, limbs, and walnuts fall. We are actually out in Seattle right now with Erik's folks. We are having a great time and went up to Canada for a night and day to see the sights. I got sea sick on the way up there and needless to say I was miserable but that changed quickly when I didn't have anything else in my system to throw up anymore. hahaha. Bryan and Oanh got married and we had a blast at that wedding. We are now looking forward to Monday when we get to go to a Mariner's game and just eat ballpark food. We also recently had a baby shower out here with Erik's family. We actually got a lot of outfits and we are coming home with an extra suitcase just for the little man. He is going to be cruising in style. We did have an exciting moment for our little family yesterday (8-5-10) Erik got to finally feel the baby move. I was really hoping to have that happen like on his bday or our anniversary but the little one was not having it. It was his time or no time. We are just really excited that Erik can now feel what I have been feeling and be that one step closer to our little man visiting us. Our little man is going to be quite the traveler. He actually took his first international trip. That is he was in my belly as we were in Canada. He is more of a traveler than his mommy. School starts soon and we are not really looking forward to it since this summer went by way to fast. School with the kiddos start on August 24th and I have a feeling it will be a quick year with all the stuff going on in our lives that we are looking forward to. Erik and I will have the weekends off now so that is going to be a very welcomed change into our lives. I think that I have caught you up to date with everything that is going on in the Honda household. Its long so thank you for sticking through it with me:). Until next time love the Hondas!
